The hotel is conveniently located close enough to downtown and easily accessible by bus or taxi. the hotel is situated opposite the bus stop, making it convenient for guests to explore the area. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds, soft towels, and a coffee maker. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel also offers facilities such as a gym, sauna, steam room, and rooftop terrace with amazing views.
There were some issues with the odor at times, possibly coming from the nearby creek.

The Beacon Escazu is a beautiful hotel in San Jose. Located 20 minutes from the airport, it was the perfect place to relax after touring the rest of Costa Rica for a week. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. There was a very nice sauna and fitness center near the room, and I was upgraded to a suite with a balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was even more amazing. This hotel would definitely fit into the luxury category, without the luxury hotel costs. The on site restaurant was an excellent choice for dinner and beautifully decorated. My departure flight left very early in the morning before the free breakfast was available, but the hotel provided a boxed breakfast to take to the airport. I only wish I had more time in San Jose to fully enjoy everything that the Beacon Escazu offered.

During our Christmas stay at this hotel, we were very pleased with the beautiful garden that surrounded the building. The staff was also very kind and helpful, providing us with information about nearby restaurants and attractions. The breakfast offered was fresh and delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.
Our room faced a busy street, which made it difficult to sleep at night due to the noise from passing cars and trucks. We also found the room to be lacking in cleanliness, as there were noticeable stains on the carpet and bed sheets upon our arrival.

The room is good but the pictures of the hotel are much betters. The swimming pool is too small and not very clean.
The transfer from the airport cost a lot. 85$ for the room and 70$ for the transfer

The hotel is very new and well-maintained, with clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and assistance with finding local attractions. One great benefit was the free international calls, which saved us quite a bit of money. the location of the hotel was convenient for exploring the surrounding area.
The hotel's immediate surroundings were less than ideal and made us feel a bit uncomfortable when venturing out at night. Because of this, we were hesitant to explore as much as we would have liked and mostly stuck to the hotel's amenities.
